A basic idea for the image-only poster. This is just one way of implying that children are being placed into slavery/ being trafficked, without the option to use text. Having only the experience of a few Illustrator workshops I was quite happy with this outcome. Of course there are many more signifiers of children and slavery to experiment with, for maximum effect.

Alphabet soup - matt tucker typeface

here is the final outcome will upload some 'in the making' pictures and i'll probably rant on quite a bit about it like i'm the authoritative voice on typography, which i'm not.

letterforms

This is what the letterforms are looking like at the end of the week. All of them are hand rendered at this stage, I may at some point, once i know how to use illustrator etc., digitalise them and make them crisper and more solid. I am however quite happy with them at the moment, as far as idea generation goes.

Balance / hard work..

'How to work hard'.  Our first major group brief, lasting a week. Obviously one of the main difficulties of living in halls for a year are the endless distractions...usually people getting hyped up about the night ahead and asking you to go along aswell. So we set about finding a solution to this problem, using brainstorm sheets and discussions.








































Our idea was essentially to create an anti-freshers pack, which would contain all the elements shown below, for example motivational posters and ear plugs. This would be wrapped up similarly to the original freshers pack given to all students, and perhaps given as a unit of freshers material.
